# Contact

> One address, read by a person who can answer it. What people write about, what comes back, and how long it takes.

URL: https://onetotem.com/contact/
Lang: en

## The address

[hello@onetotem.com](mailto:hello@onetotem.com). That is the entire contact
layer, and it is deliberate. It reaches a person who is allowed to answer you
rather than a shared inbox that routes you to someone who is not.

You will get a reply. If the answer is no, you get that too, with the reason
attached. Totem 39 is about leaving well, and the same courtesy applies to
conversations that never turn into anything.

## What people write about

**Work.** Tell us what you are trying to do and what is currently stopping you.
You do not need a brief, a budget range or a deck. If we are the wrong people we
will say so early, and usually point somewhere better.

**Joining us.** Everything we can say in public is already on
[Careers](/careers/), including the hiring process, which is published whether or
not anything is open. If nothing is open and you think we are wrong about that,
that is a reasonable thing to write about.

**The handbook.** Corrections especially. This site argues in public, which means
it can be wrong in public, and the 42 totems have been rewritten before because
somebody outside the company pushed back on one.

## What we cannot promise

**Speed.** We work a 32-hour week, and the honest number is a few days rather than
the same afternoon. An answer that took a week and thought about it is worth more
than one that took an hour and did not.

## Where we are

Madrid, Spain, which is where Red Forest S.L. is registered and where the post
would go if anyone still sent any. The work itself has been fully remote since
long before that was fashionable, so the address that matters is the one at the
top of this page.
