There is a shared convention about what business and work look like. Employers assume they must maximize income and efficiency, and that employees are secondary: if sales are fine, everything is fine. Employees accept that work sucks and that all bosses are jerks.

That something is a convention doesn't make it right. It only means we take it at face value. That "everyone else does it" is not enough for us.

The idea is to shake off that preconception and actually look, with open eyes, at how broken it is. It is not ethical on the employer's side, not acceptable on the employee's side, and not healthy as a society. From there follows the duty to fight the traditional model and dare to experiment with other possible structures.
