Only commit reversible mistakes

You can fail. Make sure you can fix it. Before you commit, ask what it costs to undo: if the answer is nothing, move fast; if the answer is the company, slow down and bring someone in.

Most decisions are doors you can walk back through. Treat the few that aren't with the seriousness they deserve.
