Time ownership

Control doesn't exist: not over hours, not over responsibilities, not over what anyone does with their afternoon. It doesn't exist in a physical setting, and far less in a remote one. The only real form of control is persuasion through conviction and purpose. The rest is literature.

You own your time, and you must learn to be efficient, accountable and responsible with it. Your time and what you do with it is yours, as long as you can prove value.
